the trusty duo of Ben and Theresa arrived here in St John''s the other day. They were somewhat battered, Ben was ordered to our shower by Theresa as she said he was starting to smell. He looked tired but happy and mercifully had a shave too, almost looked human by the time he finshed. They and their good friend were then fed and watered, fueled and left within 24 hours for St Pierre with favorable winds at their back. It was great seeing them and a disaster they couldn't stay any longer cos we wanted to spoil them. However they managed a meal with us and drank my beer albeit ginger. We had a great time and swapped boat stories and adventures. Kept most of the tall stories plausible and wished them fair winds at their backs, which of course was why they left so quickly!!

They arrived thru a sou wester precisely in the direction they wanted to go, they have found it cold and really summer has been a disaster here so far. Anyway they have more adventures in store for sure. we wish them well.
